Oath -Oak, Ash & Hawthorn
In Celtic times it was said where Oak, Ash and Hawthorn trees were found growing close to each other the clearing in-between them was a sacred portal place where the Goddess could be honoured and asked for help. This is believed to be one of the earliest origins of the word Oath.
Oath is a beautifully gilded Ash portal in 23.5ct gold, mounted on a tiny block of Hawthorn, standing on a solid reclaimed Oak rustic plinth.
This elegant piece could be used for a modern Oath such as a wedding ceremony, baby naming ceremony or other special occasion.
